Fletcher Park Volunteer

Project Description:

Fred Fletcher park is a 22 acre public garden. We are seeking park volunteers to assist with general horticultural maintenance. Volunteers will attend on-site training outlining the basics of landscape gardening - including weeding, pruning, and planting.

Volunteer workdays will occur on Wednesdays or Fridays from 8 a.m. - noon based on staff's availability. All interested volunteers will be required to complete a volunteer application/background check and sign an Adopt-A-Park agreement. This is a year-long commitment.

You must be at least 18 years old to volunteer. Per department policies, this volunteer opportunity is not to be used towards court-appointed community service hours.
