Fred Fletcher park is a 22-acre public garden. It is the former campus of the Methodist Home for Children and was purchased by the City in 1982.
Duties and Impact: We are seeking volunteers to assist with general horticultural maintenance. Volunteers will attend on-site training, lead by Parks staff, outlining the basics of landscape gardening - including weeding, pruning, and planting. This is a year round program, the work never ends.
Work Environment: Volunteers will be working outside in the elements. There is the possibility for uneven ground. There will be a restroom on site.
