Finance/Budget Consultant: Community Center - Benton Harbor

Responsibilities: Many households in Benton Harbor would have the ability to be more housing/food/utility secure with the understanding of how to budget, identify beneficial resources in the community/state, and learn how to create a household budget that can help them advance. In this role, you will work with our clients and help them create a budget based on their household income.

 

Skills: You are very familiar and comfortable with the budgeting process, you have the ability to make recommendations that will increase financial security, you understand the challenges of low-income households and are compassionate about their situation, you are comfortable speaking with people at all socioeconomic levels, you are kind and approachable.  This is strictly an advisory role, and you will not be help liable for the outcome of the client’s budget.
