Cupboard Ally - Indian Trail

Registration for this project is currently full. Please select another project or check back again later.

Project Description:
A Cupboard Ally delivers groceries to families struggling in poverty or in crisis and seeks to be an intentional friend.  Deliveries are made to 2 - 5 families one Saturday a month.  The families you are assigned are families that you will be serving monthly for as long as there is a need. The Saturday delivery day is determined in advance and is typically the same Saturday (ex., 2nd Saturday) each month. We ask that you take your time and treat this time as visiting a friend, not as a task to complete.

Additionally, Cupboard Allies will communicate at least once per month with the family by phone, text or email. We encourage allies to check in with their families.

Cupboard Allies Must:

  • Be 21 or older (If under 21, must be teamed up with someone who is. This can be a family member or friend).
  • Have an insured vehicle.
  • Pass a background check.
