Description:
Population Served: Kenton Women’s Village is made up of 20 pods, and is a community for houseless women, who can find support and camaraderie, employment assistance, case management, legal and financial services, and mental and physical health care. The community empowers them to create a plan to transition to permanent housing after their time at the village.

Position Description: Many of our Kenton Women’s “Villagers” enter the Village with limited personal belongings. We are looking for creative volunteers who can put together our “Welcome Baskets” for those arriving.
Work Environment : Kenton Women’s Village is located 2420 N Columbia Blvd.

Essential Responsibilities:
Our goal is that baskets will consist of all or some of the following items :
Welcome Basket
Qualifications and Training Needed: Completed Catholic Charities volunteer application, Volunteer Orientation (1), Review the Volunteer Handbook and return the Handbook Fillable Signature Page (2)
A passion for compiling essential items for those that will appreciate and utilize the donations!
Time Commitment (include start/end date): Gathering, preparing baskets, and drop off times may vary. Approximately a 5-8 hour commitment.
