Opportunity Name:
Home Repair Volunteer

Description:

Habitat home repairs serves veterans, older adults, and individuals with mobility challenges to remain safely in their home with dignity and independence. Our affiliate serves individuals with repairs that increase the accessibility of their homes, such as ramps and assistive technology — all supported by our volunteers.

Habitat home repairs help existing homeowners with cost-prohibitive repairs such roof repairs, window, and door replacements grab bars, paint, weatherization, accessibility problems, etc. Through these activities, our affiliate serves households who were at risk of code noncompliance, displacement due to structural issues, or loss of insurance coverage — all supported by our volunteers.
