Service Project Details

Volunteers are needed to assist with FeedMore WNY's Angel Card program! Throughout the year we often distribute greeting cards, that community members have made and donated, to our home delivered meal clients. It is a way to lift our clients' spirits and put a smile on their face!

Cards can be handmade, created on a computer or even store bought and then decorated further. We do ask that a nice message is written inside each card, and that they are signed with your first name or with the phrase, “your friends at FeedMore.” Please do not date the cards, do not write anything offensive on the cards, and do not address them to anyone specific.

Cards can be for any general purpose (e.g. thinking of you, birthday, happy holidays, happy fall, etc.), and you can either provide an envelope with them or not. If you do decide to provide envelopes with your cards please do not seal them, as we do have to double check all cards before being delivered to our clients.

This project can be done remotely and once completed the cards can either be dropped off (between the hours of 8am and 4pm Monday through Friday) at 100 James E Casey Drive Buffalo 14206 or 91 Holt Street, Buffalo NY 14206, or mailed. Cards can also be dropped off on Saturdays (between 8am and 12pm) at 91 Holt Street, Buffalo 14206.

Birthday cards
Thinking of You cards

As an additional note if you are making cards for a specific holiday please be sure to submit those cards at least 2 weeks prior to the holiday so that we can ensure the cards make it out on time.
