Service Project Details

OVERVIEW

The FRC Reloved Boutique is for the community, by the community. Gently used clothing items are donated to the boutique where staff and volunteers carefully sort each items to be sent out to be cleaned. Clean items are inventoried and placed on the selling floor for customers. Our Reloved Boutique customers are diverse and come to this space through, many different avenues. All staff and volunteers are expected to maintain an environment of professionalism, acceptance and safety for all who come through the door. We hope you will join us!

WHAT IS YOUR COMMITMENT?

Welcome costumers warmly into the boutique.
Help to organize donations and laundry service.
Restock items onto clothing racks.
Inventory donation items.
Ensure that the space looks fresh and seasonable appropriate.
Volunteers needed: Monday and Tuesday from 9AM-12PM or 2-4PM.
Make a weekly commitment of one shift/week.

About the Family Resource Center @MCC

The Family Resource Center (FRC) at Manny Cantor Center is a welcoming space where individuals and families access a range of services including legal, housing, employment, advocacy, citizenship, parenting, ESOL, and counseling resources and supports. The trained Social Work staff at the FRC work with community members to find hope, aid, and encouragement. All are welcome.
