Supportive Housing Youth Tutoring

Project Description:

We have a brand new volunteer opportunity for those who would like to work with children who's families are experiencing homelessness! Our Supportive Housing Program partners with the HERO program at Metro Nashville Public Schools to provide tutoring and homework help to our families weekly. We are looking for 2 to 4 volunteers that can commit to a weekly or bi-weekly committment for an entire semester (Sept - December or Jan - May)! You will need to undergo a background check, and an onsite training before starting. The training will be held before the tutoring session and should take roughly a half hour.
