Opportunity Details | Adult Learning Programs Interview

Schedule this interview to work with adult GED classes, English language classes, or the Adult Literacy Tutor program.

Before volunteering with the Dallas Public Library, volunteers will need to complete a Volunteer Interview and Orientation with library staff. 

The purpose of this interview is for library staff and the volunteer to decide if this location can offer suitable tasks for the volunteer and if the volunteer is interested in the tasks available. Volunteers can later decide to volunteer at other locations or multiple locations.

Once the interview is complete, a background check is required for all volunteers over 18. Attending this orientation does not guarantee you will be approved to volunteer with the Dallas Public Library.
