Invasive Species Removal

Project Description:

Come join us and be part of the first line of defense in removing invasive plant species from our parks. Depending on the season you will have a chance to pull, cut, bag and remove a variety of invasive species from our parks.

This opportunity is intended for folks who have had prior training with invasive species and would like to volunteer in their own time to eradicate invasives in the parks.

If there is no specific target in mind, please visit our Stewardship page to see when our next upcoming invasive species workday will be and come volunteer with us!

If you are looking to help monitor the invasive species in our parks, become a Citizen Scientist and sign up for Citizen Science: Invasive species monitoring.

Whether helping pull invasive garlic mustard on your nightly walk, or utilizing a beautiful weekend to get outside and help cut back invasive honeysuckle there is always something that could use your support.
