A Naturalist Assistant Program (NAP) volunteer is a dedicated teen that volunteers 60 hours a year at the Nature Center.
As a NAP volunteer, you help with special events such as Snake Day and Scary Oozy Slimy Day, or teach visitors about a certain topic during our Open Houses each month.
Along with their volunteer hours, they must attend monthly meetings, write an article for the NAP newsletter What’s Nappening, and help train new NAP volunteers.
