YWCA ongoing tasks have been designed for volunteers that would like to engage in long-term positions. Please note: all new YWCA volunteers are encouraged to sign up and participate at a one-time event first.

Please consider its specific requirements of positions before applying. Many ongoing task may not be open to all applicants.

Once you’ve decided on a ongoing task that you’re interested in, click on a registration button: Submit a Service Project Application. You’ll be asked to log in or create a profile before being able to apply.

what’s next?

Once you've submitted your application, it will be reviewed by the YWCA Volunteer Services Department, and you will be contacted within a few days. All ongoing volunteers will need to:

• have a volunteer interview with staff
• submit 2 character references
• complete a background check (at our expense)
• attend a YWCA Volunteer Orientation
• complete required paperwork
