Volunteer opportunities are based on the particular needs of Our Lady of Peace and/or one of its subsidiaries at any given time and are expected to change over time.

 

All volunteers must fill out this Profile with references, go through the interview process, pass a background check and attend an orientation training specific to the volunteer event(s) that you would like to participate in. Orientation training to classes range from 2 hours to 24 hours and is solely based on your interest(s).   

 

Orientation and all continuing educational opportunities are provided to our volunteers free of charge.

 

Our Lady of Peace will be conducting a State of MN Background check and requires training BEFORE any volunteer opportunity will be made available.

I understand that volunteers will serve solely at the discretion of Our Lady of Peace. I also understand that this is not an application for paid employment and there will be no monetary compensation for any services that I provide and I will not be reimbursed for mileage unless indicated in writing prior to event. I further agree that I will not request any compensation or gifts from the people in our care.
