Welcome to Saint John’s Program for Real Change volunteer registration system. Please complete the information requested below. Once completed, you will receive an email with instructions on how to create your password.

 

If you are a returning volunteer: Please give us a few days to update your profile as a "returning volunteer." We will send you an email letting you know when this has been completed. You will then be able to go to the Saint John's Volunteer Portal and see all the volunteer opportunities available and sign up.

 

If you are a new volunteer: You will need to attend attend one of our Volunteer Orientations before you can volunteer.  You can sign up for an orientation session once you have completed your volunteer profile.

This release and waiver of Liability releases Saint John’s Program for Real Change, a non-profit organization existing under the laws of the State of California and each of its directors, officers, employees, and agents. The Volunteer desires to provide volunteer services for Saint John’s Program for Real Change.

  1. Volunteer understands that the scope of Volunteer’s relationship with Saint John’s Program for Real Change is limited to a volunteer position and that no compensation is expected in return for services provided by Volunteer; that Saint John’s Program for Real Change will not provide any benefits traditionally associated with employment to Volunteer; and that Volunteer is responsible for his/her own insurance coverage in the event of personal injury or illness as a result of Volunteer’s services to Saint John’s Program for Real Change. Waiver and Release: I, the Volunteer, release and forever discharge and hold harmless Saint John’s Program for Real Change and its successors and assigns from any and all liability, claims, and demands of whatever kind or nature, either in law or in equity, which arise or may hereafter arise from the services I provide to Saint John’s Program for Real Change. I understand and acknowledge that this Release discharges Saint John’s Program for Real Change from any liability or claim that I may have against Saint John’s Program for Real Change with respect to bodily injury, personal injury, illness, death, or property damage that may result from the services I provide to Saint John’s Program for Real Change or occurring while I am providing volunteer services.
  2. Insurance: Further I understand that Saint John’s Program for Real Change does not assume any responsibility for or obligation to provide me with financial or other assistance, including but not limited to medical, health or disability benefits or insurance of any nature in the event of my injury, illness, death or damage to my property. I expressly waive any such claim or compensation or liability on the part of Saint John’s Program for Real Change beyond what may be offered freely by Saint John’s Program for Real Change in the event of such injury or medical expenses incurred by me.
  3. Medical Treatment: I hereby Release and forever discharge Saint John’s Program for Real Change from any claim whatsoever which arises or may hereafter arise on account of any first-aid treatment or other medical services rendered in connection with any emergency during my tenure as a volunteer with Saint John’s Program for Real Change.
  4. Assumption of Risk: I understand that the services I provide to Saint John’s Program for Real Change may include activities that may be hazardous to me. As a volunteer, I hereby expressly assume the risk of injury or harm from these activities and Release Saint John’s Program for Real Change from all liability for injury, illness, death or property damage resulting from the services I provide as a volunteer or occurring while I am providing volunteer services.
  5. Photographic Release: I grant and convey to Saint John’s Program for Real Change all right, title and interests in any and all photographs, images, video, or audio recordings of me or my likeness or voice made by Saint John’s Program for Real Change in connection with my providing volunteer services to Saint John’s Program for Real Change.
  6. Other: As a volunteer, I expressly agree that this Release in intended to be as broad and inclusive as permitted by the laws of the State of California and that this Release shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of the State of California. I agree that in the event that any clause of provision of this Release is deemed invalid, the enforceability of the remaining provisions of this Release shall not be affected. I understand that this Release and Waiver of Liability will remain in effect until revoked in writing by me.
  7. Volunteer Code of Conduct: I agree not to exchange personal information telephone numbers, home addresses, e-mail addresses or any other home directory information with residents for any purpose unless it is required as part of my role as a volunteer. I will exchange personal information only with administrative approval. I will maintain confidentiality outside of the program. Saint John’s is committed to providing an environment free of harassment, discrimination, retaliation, bullying and any other disrespectful or other unprofessional conduct.

By signing, I express my understanding and intend to enter into this Release & Waiver of Liability willingly & voluntarily.
