SECU Family House Event Listing & Registration

Thank you for your interest in volunteering with the SECU Family House of Winston-Salem! The Family House is "more than just a place to stay" thanks to amazing volunteers and generous community support.

We require a Family House volunteer profile for each volunteer. Once you have a volunteer profile, you may register for specific opportunities.

Hourly volunteer opportunities require a volunteer profile and registration online, but these do NOT require an additional application. These opportunities are perfect for volunteers of all ages (including students!) who want to support the Family House occasionally. 

Weekly/monthly volunteer opportunities require a volunteer profile, a 6-month commitment, a more extensive application process, and a background check. If you are interested in learning more and applying for one or more of these opportunities, please indicate so on your registration. We will be in touch!

Group/Family Volunteers make a big difference at the Family House! Group volunteering is a great way to bring co-workers, families, church groups, and civic organizations together for a common cause. Since group volunteering has changed a great deal during the pandemic, groups are considered on a case-by-case basis.
